Glossybox August 2014

Glossybox August 2014.

Hello everyone,
I hope you are all okay? I hope you guys enjoyed reading my last post, I know it was a bit different but I really enjoyed writing it!
This post is going to be about the August Glossybox. I wouldn't say that this was the best box I have had, I have definatley had better. This Glossybox did not come with a magazine, it just came with the card that tells you about the products, where you can purchase them and whether the products in the box are full size or not.

                                                                                                       Lalique L'amour

This is the Lalique L'amour perfume, I really love the smell of this perfume. I would say that this perfume has a very girly scent to it. I think it has a slight under tone of paraviolets (Omg I love those sweets) I would also say that it has a light musky flowery smell. The thing I love about this perfume is that its a subtle smelling perfume its not over powering. When I wore this perfume it literally lasted all day (Which everyone wants in a perfume). I definatley think that I will be buying the full size of this when the sample runs out. You can purchase this perfume from http://www.boots.com/en/Lalique/Lalique-Fragrances-for-Her/ The full size for the 50ml costs £67.00 and for the 100ml it cost £94.00.
                                                                                                 Philip Kingsley Elasticizer

This is the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer pre shampoo treatment, I have never used anything like this before, I really liked using this product! The texture of the product is like a cream. I applied this to the ends of my hair and wrapped my hair in cling film because it tells you to cover your hair, I left the product in the ends of my hair for 20 minutes. I then washed my hair with shampoo and used conditioner and rinsed it out. When my hair dryed my hair felt really soft and made my hair really shinny! This product is suitable for all hair types. This hair product does not have a scent. I loved this product I will also be purchasing the full size of this product too! On the card that comes with the Glossybox with the products on it says that the 250ml full size costs £38.00 but I couldn't find it on there website so I will leave the link and you guys can see if you can find it if
your interested. http://www.lookfantastic.com/elysium.search?search=250ml+philip+&searchFilters=Y29uY2Vzc2lvbiMtbGZpbnRcOmNvbmNlc3Npb25fY29udGVudDoqIVBoaWxpcCBLaW5nc2xleSNlbl9icmFuZF9jb250ZW50OlBoaWxpcCBLaW5nc2xleSE%3D
                                                                                               Yves Rocher Pink nail polish

This is the Yves Rocher pink nail varnish, I love the colour of this nail varnish! But the nail varnish its self I didn't not like. When you paint it onto your nail its comes out very streaky, I let the first coat dry and applied another coat and even  the second coat dried streaky. I didn't even bother leaving the nail varnish to dry to see how long it would last for. I think I will definatley be looking for the same colour but from a different make. The full size product is £3.60 for a 3ml http://www.yves-rocher.co.uk/control/product/~category_id=2000/~pcategory=2000/~product_id=W06852?cmSrc=Category
                                                                    Kryolan for Glossybox Highlighter Cashmere

This is the Kryolan for Glossybox Highlighter Cashmere, I absolutly love this highlighter! It has a creamy consistency. The highlighter is very easy to apply and blend out. I apply this product on my cheekbones my browbone and on my cupids bow just to brighten everything up. The colour of the product in the pot is like a pinky beige colour, But when its applied to the skin its a pinky gold colour. When I have used this product up I will definatley be purchasing a new one! The full size cost £12.95 4.5g. I have looked on the website to find this product but I cant find it, but I will still leave the link anyway incase you would like to see there other products. https://uk.kryolan.com/products/face-body/highlighter

Figs & Rouge mini hand cream

This is the Figs & Rouge hand cream, I love the packaging to this hand cream! I think this had got to be the best hand cream I have used. At first when you apply it to the skin it feels watery but once it has absorbed into the skin it makes your hands feel really soft! I love the smell of this product it smells like sweets ( I cannot think what sweet it smells like though lol) the hand cream says it smells like mango and madarin but I dont think it does.  Full size £6.95 80ml http://www.feelunique.com/p/Figs-and-Rouge-Mango-Mandarin-Shea-Butter-Hand-Cream-20ml

                                                                                           Essence Longlasting lipstick

This is the Essence Longlasting lipstick, I love the colour of this product! I would say that it is a pinky purple colour. This lipstick looks really natural on, I would add this into my everyday makeup! I think this is a new brand out because I have only recentley seen it advertised on the tele. This product costs £ 2.29 http://www.essence.eu/en/store-finder.

I really hope that you guys enjoyed reading this post! I will be uploading a new video on my youtube channel I will like it here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vatC1i0iYK8
Thankyou guys for reading!

10 Things which make me happy - Tag

I was tagged by Rosie to do the " 10 things which make me happy" Tag
Find her blog here http://www.rosielucky.co.uk/

10 Things which make me happy;

1) My fiance and my son;  I love my fiance Mark and my son Harry so much! Whenever I am feeling down they both always manage to put a smile on my face. When my son does new things such as saying new words for the first time it makes me so happy and so proud! Words cannot explain how much I love them both and how much they make me happy! My son isnt even eight months yet and he can say; Mum, Dad,Nan,Ta,Duck and Hello! :)

I am aware that we all look a bit ruff, long painful day!
2) Friends and family:  It makes me so happy knowing that I have such supportive friends and family. I am so lucky to have such special people in my life! My friends and family are always there for me if I am having a bad time with my panic attacks/ anxiety which I have suffered with since I was about 8 or 9, I feel so comfortable to express how I feel about it with them.
Me and my close friend Koren :)

I am so happy to have a special friend like this girl. We was both embarrassed at first to tell people how we met because we met on Habbo! But now I don't care because I have gained such a close friendship with her. When we first met each other it felt like we had met so many times before! We just get on so well, I just wish we lived so much closer! :( I really hope to see you soon chick! <3

3) Doing my makeup and hair:   It makes me happy when I have done my makeup and my hair. It makes me feel alot more confident in myself, it makes me happy when I can achieve new looks and manage to do new hair styles! :)
My makeup & my hair style I have recently learnt
to do :)
4) Chocolate: I absolutely love Chocolate! My favourite has got to be peanut m&ms, I did used to love snickers until when I was pregnant and I ate so much of it, YUCK! I don't like dark chocolate neither white so its obviously got to be milk chocolate aha! :)
Mmm my fav
5) Youtube: Everyday without a fail I go on Youtube and watch beauty videos. They always cheer me up, I love watching how people do their hair and makeup. I love learning new things from peoples videos. I have also uploaded a video of my everyday makeup to my Youtube here is the link if you would like to go and watch it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vatC1i0iYK8, it was really fun and I really enjoyed doing it. I must say though it did feel strange just speaking to a camera.

6) A cup of tea:  The first thing I do in the morning is go downstairs and make a cuppa. Tea is the only thing I really drink during the day, I hardly ever drink juice. I am tea obsessed I have to have my tea strong and with one sugar. I hate making tea in my house because the minute my family hear the kettle boil everyone wants a cup of tea lol!

7) Xbox: Although I would say that I am girly, I do really like to play xbox with my fiance. We love playing Battlefield, Call of duty and zombies. The only time I dont like playing xbox is when im getting my but kicked lmao!

8) Blogging: I absolutely love blogging! I love that I can write my tips for beauty and things on here and that you guys can read it and take things from it, I really hope that my blog helps you guys!

9) Animals: I love animals so much! They always make me happy. I have always grown up with animals. I have two cats, two rabbits and one dog. It upsets me so much knowing that there are horrible people out there badly treating such innocent animals! My favourite animal has got to be a horse, I think they are beautiful and I think they smell like tea lol!

10) Watching Family Guy: I never used to like family guy, I never used to get what they was talking about and things like that. Its only since I have been with my fiance that I have been getting into it. My fiance is obsessed with it, Now I cant stop laughing at it when it is on :)

I know this blog was a bit different but I hope you guys enjoyed reading it. Feel free to comment below on the things that make you happy!
Thanks again Rosie at http://www.rosielucky.co.uk/ for tagging me to do this post :)

My mini Primark Haul :)

Hello everyone! I hope your all okay?
Today I thought I would write a blog post on the clothes I brought from Primark, I didnt buy alot as you can see but I thought I would still write a post. I hope you enjoy it! :) I was ment to go to Primark for a swimming costume/bikini as me and my boyfriend was taking our son swimming for the first time! We had such a lovely time! we all really enjoyed it, we will be definatley be going again soon! I wasnt planning on buying anything else but these things caught my eye and I had to buy them. I love Primark I have been shopping there for years! it is just so affordable!

I was going to buy a bikini but when I was trying it on I just didnt feel comfortable as I still have a bit on my pregnancy weight (although I am only a size 8) ... and then I found this pretty swimming costume! I love this swimming costume it is so comfortable! it covers everything so I had no worries of anything being on show that shouldnt lol! the only thing I didnt like about the swimming costume was that the strapes to hold it up are not sewn on they are held on by clips which kept popping off even when just swimming which was a little bit worrying! You can also wear it strapeless so I know why they have designed it like this, I just wish if the clips would have held better! I had to get a size 10 as I found the size of this was to small. But overall I am happy with this purchase! it only cost £10!

I love this shoes! I have seen loads of people wearing these and I wondered where they had been buying them from, When I went into Primark I went to the shoe section and I found them! I wasn't to keen on the heart that was on them but you can take the heart of if you wanted to, but the more I wore them the more I actually liked it being on the shoe. The shoes are really comfortable, I just wish that I would of got one size bigger, I brought 3-4 when actually my shoe size is 4-5! Next time I go to Primark I will definatley be picking up more in different colours and a bigger size! :) I actually cannot remember how much they were.

It was about time I brought some new summer shorts! I loved these shorts straight away, But when I looked for my size they did not have any! me and boyfriend was then looking round trying to find some like it and my boyfriend spotted these pair and luckily they was my size I was so happy. I love these shorts they are so comfortable! I usually struggle to find clothes that fit because I am only 4ft 11 my trousers and shorts are usually long when I get them in a size 8, but these fit perfectly! these were £10.

I also brought these pair of shorts, I like that these are just plain they will go with pretty much any top! These fit perfectly too, These are just a light denim. These was £10 also.

I brought three of these plain strap tops, these are just so handy to wear under things and even by them self. They are so comfy to wear, the material are thin so they are good for summer but are possible to thin to wear in the winter unless you are wearing a jumper over the top. I brought these for £2.00 ( What a bargin!) hence why I brought three! :)

These have got to be my favourite out of everything I brought! I wasnt planning on getting any dungaree as I have never really seen a pair that I really like, but these I liked straight away because of the design of them. They have little white prints of Mickey Mouse on them! Which everyone who knows me knows that I love anything Disney. These are quiet a thick denim material, they are really comfortable to wear! I wear this outfit one or two ways either as it is in the picture or un clipped with the front bit down with the strap tops I brought. On the inside at the back there are prints of Mickey Mouses head but these are more detailed. These only cost £10 which I was over the moon with.

I hope you guys enjoyed this type of blog post, hopefully there will be more of these.
Thankyou for reading this post, I will be writing another one soon.
Bye for now! :)

Glossybox July 2014

July Glossybox stars and stripes
box print.
Hello everyone!  I hope your all okay?
Today I am going to do a post about the July Glossybox. I have been subscribed to Glossybox for seven months now, and I can still say that I love Glossybox! I love the excitement I get when I know that my Glossybox has been sent, this is because I love trying out new products! Normally the Glossyboxes comes with a magazine, this Glossybox did not come with a magazine, it just came with a card that tells you what products that are in the box and where you can purchase them from and weather they are full size or not.

The beauty products that came in my
Glossybox.

                                                                                          Color Club Glossy Seal

This is the Color Club nail varnish in the colour Glossy Seal. I have never heard of this nail varnish brand before but I can say that I love it! The nail varnish is very easy to apply it applies smoothly and evenly and my nails only needed one coat but on the card they tell you to use two. I love the colour of this nail varnish, I do not have a colour like this in my nail varnish collection. I like that this product drys quickly so if you are in a rush you have not got to worry about the drying time. I also love that the nail varnish stays on for ages without chipping! ( Which everyone wants with a nail varnish!) This nail polish costs $8 and that works out around £4.70 for a 15ml. At the moment this is exclusive to Glossybox so I cant at the moment tell you where you can buy this product from but Glossybox has stated the price and the company that makes this nail polish (http://shopcolorclub.com/)

Nail varnish once it has been applied.

Bellapierre Cosmetics Ltd mineral lipstick

This is the Bellapierre Mineral lipstick in the colour Mandarina. I have recieved a product from the same company in a previous Glossybox and I really liked the product I just did  not like the colour, which unfortunatley is the same with this product! I love the lipstick its self I found that it left my lips feeling like I did not have a lipstick on it felt more like I was wearing a lip balm. The product is formulated with natural waxes, mineral pigments and anti oxidants including vitamin C and E. This lipstick is one of the best that I have smelt. I will a 100% be purchasing this lipstick but just in a different shade. This lipstick costs £20, you can purchase this product from http://www.bellapierre.co.uk/shop/index.php/mineral-lipstick.html

The lipstick once it has been applied.

Tarte lights, camera, lashes 4-in-1 mascara

This is the Tarte lights, camera, lashes 4-in-1 mascara. Despite the name I felt as though this was more for a everyday mascara! I applied the mascara onto my lashes the same way that I apply my current mascara and I found that it gave me a very minimal look rather than the way the product has been described. I applied another coat to see if this would make my eye lashes look fuller but it just did not make a difference. The mascara is very nice to wear if you dont want to look like you are wearing alot of mascara. I love the packaging to this product it is very unique! This is a sample size product, the full size costs £ 19.50 for 7ml, at the moment it is on offer for £17.76  you can purchase this fromhttp://www.qvcuk.com/tarte-Lights%2c-Camera%2c-Lashes-4-in-1-Mascara.product.205116.html?sc=SRCH&cm_sp=VIEWPOSITION-_-10-_-205116

Mascara once it has been applied.

ABSOLUTE New York Perfecting Eyeshadow Primer

This is the ABSOLUTE New York Perfecting Eyeshadow Primer. I do not really wear eyeshadow but I will start to experiment on different eyeshadows and techniques, but this product can be used not only as a primer for your eyeshadow, you can use it by itself to reduce redness to the eyes, which is used for when the little one gets me up at 5.30 in the morning lol! Compared to other brands that leave your eye lid feeling sticky this leaves your eyes feeling smooth and soft whilst still holding on to your eyeshadow! The cost of this product is $4.99 which is £2.90. You can purchase this product from http://www.nicka.com/navigation-menu/eye/primer/perfecting-eye-shadow-primer

Carmex Lip Balm

This is the Carmex lip balm. I am pretty sure that everyone has heard of this product before! but for you guys that havent it is a must have lip balm in your everyday makeup/handbag. This product works really well with people that have really dry lips like myself to sooth the lips and make them feel soft! Once applied the lip balm it leaves a tingling sensation which some people may not be a fan of but me personally I love because it feels like it is actually working! The lip balm is quiet thick so you only need a small amount to do the job plus it does have a nice but hard to describe smell to it! This product costs £2.69 for a 8.4ml pot. You can purchase this lip balm in most stores like boots or superdrug but here is a link that Glossybox has recommended because they are doing a 3 for 2 offer on all carmex. products http://www.graftonsbeauty.co.uk/lipbalmsandsalves/product-carm/carmex-original-lip-balm-pot-7-5g/index.html

So there you have it another review on the July Glossybox guys, I hope you enjoyed it and have found this review useful and remember if you like the products in this review or my other review sign up to Glossybox!
Currently there has not been a Glossybox that I have been unsatisfied with so again I would definatley recommend signing up.
Thanks for reading guys! I will be posting another post very soon dont forget to comment if there is anything you would like to know more about or see!

My everyday makeup.

Before

After
Hello everyone, today I am going to be writing a blog post about my everyday makeup look! I hope you enjoy this blog, and there will be more like this soon!

The first thing I do for my everyday makeup is apply a small amount of the primer, I used the Monu illuminating primer. I got this product in a Glossybox, I have used it everyday since I have had it and even tho it is a sample size product it has lasted quiet a while so I will defiantly be purchasing the full size product when I run out.

The second thing I do is apply my eyeliner, I use the Rimmel London gel eye liner. I have already written a review about this product so feel free to check it out :)  http://simplybeautybycatherine.blogspot.co.uk/2014/06/maybelline-falsies-mascara-and-rimmel.html. It is really easy to use, it last for ages and  its waterproof. I love everything about this eyeliner. I apply a thin coat along the lash line, I then go back over the line I have made and I make it thicker, I also add a flick!

The third thing I do is apply the Rimmel London Match Perfection foundation in the shade 200 soft beige because i would say i have quiet a pale complexion . I use one pump of this product and I dab some on my cheeks, nose, forehead and my chin. I use the real techniques expert face brush because they are really good brushes they are soft and blend out your foundation really well. I blend this in a circular motion until the foundation is blended out nice and evenly.

The fourth thing I do is apply the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer in the shade fair 1. I apply this under my eyes as I have bad dark circles, I also apply this on any blemishes I have. I love the coverage of this concealer, it covers things really well! I again use the real techniques expert face brush to blend it out so it covers all my blemishes and my dark circles.

The fifth thing I do is apply the Natural Collection pressed powder in the shade warm. I apply this to my T zone with the real techniques buffing brush. This powder is really good to stop your foundation from looking oily.

The sixth thing I do is add some of the So Susan blush to my real techniques contour brush. You only need a tiny bit of this blush.

I then smile and apply the blush to the apples of my cheeks and I blend it up to my hair line. I love this blush because it gives a natural looking flush to your cheeks. I have also wrote a mini review of this product http://simplybeautybycatherine.blogspot.co.uk/2014/06/glossybox-june-2014.html.

The seventh thing I do is curl my eyelashes, i find that it makes it easier to apply my mascara and because my eyelashes  grow downwards rather than curl up this helps to curl them I got this eye lash curler from Asda years ago! It still works though lol!

The eighth thing I do is apply my mascara on my upper lashes, I use the Maybelline Big Eyes volum express in waterproof. I love this mascara it makes your lashes long whilst looking natural at the same time. I also got this mascara from my Glossybox a couple of months ago. When this mascara drys up I will defiantly be purchasing a new one!

I then use the other end for my lower lashes, I only apply a tiny bit of this because my lower lashes are naturally quiet long and dark.

The last thing I do is apply lipstick and the lipstick I have used in this picture is the Rimmel London Kate lipstick in the colour 05. I love this product because it applies smoothly to the lips and the colour is amazing.

I hope this blog can help you in anyway like other blogs has helped me :) thanks for all the views feel free to leave a message if there is anything you would like me to review or talk about!

I passed my driving test!!

I Passed My Driving Test!!
Me with my certificate

Hello everyone, Hope your all okay?
I was going to post this a couple of days after I had passed my driving test but I wasn't sure weather to write a blog post about it as its not related to beauty, but then I thought some people would be interested to hear my experience of my test. I first started doing my lessons with a driving school when I was sixteen I really did enjoy my lessons with that driving school but I felt like I wasnt getting anywhere, I just felt like it was lesson after lesson with no end goal. I then booked my theory test but I didnt revise and I failed ( teach me right lol) I then done it again and failed. I eventually got the theory test disk and made sure I revised so I was ready for my test, I then passed my test! :) I was so nervous, I generally am a nervous person as it is, I literally worry about everything lol. Once I had passed my theory test I didnt have enough money to carry on with my lessons so I didnt do them for a while. Once the money picked up I rang my instructor and said to her that im ready to do my lessons and she said that shes got to many students and that she couldnt teach me, so I then went on to facebook and wrote a status " Does anyone know any good driving schools" My friends wrote back that Portland driving school was really good!! So I got the driving schools number and spoke to a man called Ashley and he was going to be my instructor. I started doing my lessons in February. Ashley made me feel at ease and he asked me how many lessons I had done. On the day of my first lesson I felt nervous, Ashley came and he asked if I wanted to drive or if he I wanted him to drive me somewhere quiet and then I drive. He was really chatty and just made me feel comfortable on my lessons! I drove home and he said about booking my test in april time as I was a good driver. That day I went home and booked my test! During the time of waiting for my test I done maneuvers I did three point turn, reverse round the corner, parallel parking and I also had to do emergency stop. The day of my test day finally came, I was so nervous that morning! I had a two hour lesson before my test and in them two hours I drove down to the test centre and down a quiet road where I done my maneuvers. My two hour lesson went really well before the test, I then went into the test centre with my driving instructor and waited them to call me for my test. The examiner called my name and I went outside to my instructors car, I then started my test, I drove down a quiet road and I had to do a three point turn, I then was driving round and literally ten minutes before the end of my test I was coming out of a junction and a car from no where pulled out on me and the car beeped at me! I then carried on driving back to the test center and when I got back the examiner said that I had failed my test by one major and 7 minors! he said that if it wasnt for that car that came from no where that I would of passed!! I was very disappointed that I had failed but I just thought to myself that I could always do it again. A couple of days after that I then went onto where you book the driving test and booked my test, I had to wait from April till June to do my test again! In that time I carried on doing my lessons till that date. The day of my test was friday 13th June, we have no luck my family so I was hoping it could be a good day for me lol! My instructor picked me up and hour and a half before my test and we drove down to the test center, I felt like the lesson before my test was really bad and I really thought that I was going to fail again! I went on my test and I felt like that time I done so much better, I done a three point turn again then I did an emergency stop, I drove back to the test centre and I pulled up outside and the examiner said that I had passed my test! I was so pleased that I had finally passed my test! I am so happy that I went with Portland driving school as I learnt to drive so quickly! Now I am just waiting to get a car aha!

I know this post was a bit different but I thought you might like to read about passing my test!

I will be writing a beauty blog soon so keep a eye out! :)
Thanks for reading!
